The Records Division is responsible for maintaining accident and incident reports for the entire City of Alexandria. Various other tasks are assigned to the Records Clerks, including, but not limited to: Fingerprinting - $10 Liquor Badges - $10 Arrest Reports - $10 Accident Reports - $10 Incident Reports - $10

WARRANTSThe Warrants Division assists the community when they need to file charges against someone. Only misdemeanor affidavits may be filed with this division. Felony accusations must be filed with the Criminal Investigations Division. Example of misdemeanor charges are: simple battery, assault, harassment, theft under $300.00, etc. Be prepared with suspect information when you come in.
The affidavit is then presented to the City Judge for consideration. If signed by the Judge, the warrant officer will then proceed with the execution of the warrant.
